Entry requirements

Admission is generally available to applicants who hold a recognised bachelor degree. Applicants with an undergraduate degree in education or a graduate diploma in education are commonly eligible for direct entry. Applicants with a bachelor degree in another discipline may be admitted where they can demonstrate relevant professional experience in education or related fields.

Candidates who are registered teachers may access specialised coursework or credit arrangements depending on prior study and professional experience. Applicants whose first language is not English will need to provide evidence of English proficiency through a recognised test or equivalent documentation in line with the university's requirements. Specific entry pathways, credit for prior learning and recognition of prior professional experience are assessed on an individual basis by the university.
