What you'll study

This programme combines core management theories with practical applications. You will study modules that typically cover organisational behaviour and leadership, strategic management, marketing management, finance and accounting for managers, operations and supply chain management, and research methods for business. The course also includes contemporary topics such as responsible management, digital and data-driven decision making, and entrepreneurship.

Teaching blends lectures, case studies, group work, simulations and applied projects. Assessment is a mix of essays, reports, presentations, group deliverables and unseen or open-book exams. Entry requirements

Applicants normally need a UK undergraduate degree or international equivalent. A second-class honours degree is commonly required; candidates with a lower classification plus relevant work experience may still be considered. Mature applicants with substantial professional experience are also welcomed.

All applicants whose first language is not English must demonstrate proficiency in English. Typical evidence is an academic English test at a level recognised by the university (for example an overall IELTS score in the mid 6s with a minimum in each component), or an approved equivalent qualification.
