Entry requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in sociology, social work, psychology, education, or another relevant social science or humanities discipline from a recognised institution.
• Academic standing indicative of the ability to undertake postgraduate study; applicants with relevant professional experience may be considered if their undergraduate GPA is borderline.
• Demonstrated competence in Arabic is generally expected for programmes delivered in Arabic; some components or electives may be offered in English and applicants should show appropriate language proficiency where required.
• Submission of academic transcripts, a statement of purpose outlining research or practice interests, and references (academic or professional) are normally required.
• Applicants with non-social-work degrees may be asked to complete bridging modules or demonstrate relevant field experience prior to or during the early stages of the programme.
