International applicants whose first language is not English will need to demonstrate English proficiency to a level appropriate for postgraduate study. Prior experience of teaching English or another language is advantageous but not always mandatory; in such cases, evidence of interest and potential for postgraduate study (for example, professional development records or relevant employment) will be considered.
