Programme overview

This is a unified five-year double degree leading to the qualifications of Maestro/a en Educación Primaria and Maestro/a en Educación Infantil. The programme mixes presencial delivery for the Primary degree with a semipresencial format for the Early Childhood degree: virtual classes appear in years 3 and 4 and year 5 contains the Early Childhood subjects which can be completed semipresencially. The double degree confers the regulated professional authorisations for Primary and Early Childhood teaching (as set out in the national orders referenced on the course page).

What you'll study

The full programme totals 342 ECTS. The credit distribution in the current plan is: 108 ECTS of Basic Training, 128 ECTS of Compulsory subjects, 36 ECTS of Optional subjects, 58 ECTS reserved for External Placements, and a 12 ECTS Final Degree Project. Practical teaching and small-group practical tuition are emphasised; the fifth year focuses on the Early Childhood modules offered with semipresential flexibility. Entry requirements

Admission begins with online preinscription. Applicants must submit academic records of prior study, identity document (DNI or passport) and pay a non-refundable reservation fee of €75. Successful applicants receive an email notifying place adjudication; to make the place definitive a further payment of €550 is required (this amount is deducted from tuition and is refundable if the candidate cannot accredit university access). Failure to pay within the stated deadline results in loss of the place. Registration is finalised once access to the university is formally proven. Career prospects

Graduates are prepared to work as classroom teachers in Primary and Early Childhood education (regulated professions), and in related roles such as teaching and educational work within institutions, advisory roles in play and educational programming, and the development and delivery of educational or cultural activities.
