The Bachelor of Science in Künstliche Intelligenz at BTU Cottbus–Senftenberg focuses on methods and algorithms used in current and future AI applications. The curriculum emphasises techniques inspired by natural intelligence and covers areas such as neural networks, machine learning, machine vision, knowledge representation and language interpretation. Admission requires either Allgemeine Hochschulreife (Abitur) or Fachhochschulreife (Fachabitur). The programme is zulassungsfrei (no central admission restriction).
Graduates can work in data science, mathematical or medical data analysis, algorithm and AI method development (including machine learning), scientific or mathematical treatment of AI questions, autonomous driving and assistance systems, and intelligent control domains such as supply chains or the energy and environmental sector.
