Entry requirements

Applicants are normally expected to hold a degree in a relevant subject (for example acting, drama, performance studies or a related discipline) or to have substantial professional experience as a performer. Admission is by audition and interview: you will typically be asked to prepare set pieces and possibly submit a short recorded audition as part of the application. A personal statement outlining your professional goals and two references (academic or professional) are usually required. Additional checks such as a criminal record disclosure may be required for some placements or public performance work.
