What you'll study

Core coursework addresses educational equity, leadership, responsive pedagogy and action research. Concentration focus areas are:

• Inclusive Practices — equity as it relates to access and inclusion for all students.
• Trauma-Informed Practices — recognizing and addressing learning and behavioral needs of students who have experienced trauma.
• Business Education — content-rich coursework for secondary or post-secondary teaching, including topics such as accounting, economics, finance and marketing, with additional options like information systems, business law, and operations and supply chain management; supports preparation for concurrent enrollment teaching.

Entry requirements

• Undergraduate degree completed with a minimum GPA of 2.50.
• Completed MSU Denver graduate application and $50 application fee.
• Official transcripts from all previously attended colleges and universities.
• Resume.
• Personal statement.
• Two letters of support/recommendation.
