What you'll study

Instruction emphasizes three broad strands: political processes, research methods, and political thought and analysis. Core topics listed by the department include American government, international relations, political theory and comparative politics. Students also learn practical research skills—gathering data, analysing information and using statistics—alongside critical thinking, ethical leadership and effective communication, all considered within a Christian framework.

Entry requirements

No previous degree is required. Applicants must submit official high school or GED transcripts; transfer applicants must provide official transcripts from prior institutions. Anderson operates a rolling admissions process; applicants are encouraged to apply by December 1 for best scholarship consideration and no later than July 1 to begin in the fall semester.
