What you'll study

Students follow a combined development-management and business-management curriculum across the four-year programme. The course is delivered in English and results in two final degrees: a BA in Development Management (UNISSA) and a Bachelor of Business Management with Honours (IIUM). Specific module lists are provided by the partnering faculties; this programme integrates development management subjects with core business management topics.

Entry requirements

  • Duration: 4 years (full time).
  • Medium: English.
  • English proficiency: at least Grade C6 in GCE O Level English, or Grade C in IGCSE English (as a Second Language), or IELTS 6.0, or TOEFL minimum overall score 550.
  • Mathematics: at least credit 6 in GCE O Level/IGCSE Mathematics, or an HND/statistics/mathematics course passed with Merit or above; applicants with D7 in O Level/IGCSE Mathematics may sit the UNISSA Mathematics Proficiency Test (MPT) and must obtain at least grade C6 to meet the requirement.
  • Diploma/HND applicants: Higher National Diploma/Foundation Degree/Advanced Diploma holders recognised by the University Senate with at least Merit in five relevant subjects may be considered.
  • Typical STPUB offer: Passed with grade 'Jayyid'.
  • Admissions are competitive; applicants must meet general UNISSA undergraduate rules, may be subject to medical fitness certification and interviews, and only qualifications recognised by the University Senate are accepted.
