What you'll study

Graduation requires successful completion of 60 credits of Okanagan College courses. At least 18 credits must be at the 200‑level or higher, and no more than 30 credits may come from a single discipline. A minimum graduating grade average of 60% is required.

Entry requirements

Regular applicants must have BC secondary graduation or equivalent and English 12 with a minimum grade of 60% (alternatives noted below). Applicants with English 12, English 12 First Peoples or TPC 12 below 60% may be admitted to the first year of the Associate of Arts degree with restrictions: they cannot register in first‑year English and must meet English requirements within the first year (through English 12, equivalent courses, or Adult Basic Education/distance education). Mature applicants (age 19+, not attended secondary school full time for at least one year) may be admitted with secondary graduation waived but must meet the English requirement. Transfer students may be eligible for transfer credits toward the diploma or related Associate degrees. Program residency requires at least 50% of the program completed at Okanagan College, including at least 18 credits of 200‑level courses completed through OC.
