Entry requirements

All coursework used to satisfy Behavioral Science requirements must be completed with a grade of C- or better. The program page advises meeting with a departmental advisor and using Wolverine Track to create an individualized graduation plan; placements and transfer credits may alter a student’s course sequencing.

Career prospects

The minor is intended to enhance career opportunities where investigative skills and working with diverse groups are important, including journalism, politics, public relations, business and public administration. The program materials also list related occupations such as managers; compliance officers; sociologists; social science research assistants; and postsecondary sociology teachers as relevant job categories.
