What you'll study

Content varies by program; examples and formats included in the portfolio are:

• Software Development bootcamps in partnership with Promineo Tech: Front End Software Developer (18 weeks) and Back End Software Developer (18 weeks), delivered part-time with micro-lectures and mentor sessions.
• Small Business series: three online workshops (a free 2-hour introductory workshop plus two paid workshops covering how to start and how to run a profitable small business) that include a 12-page workbook with the introductory session.
• Career training programs across domains such as project management, Six Sigma, accounting, medical billing and coding, EKG technician, dental assistant, welding, HVAC, diesel technician, legal assistant, teacher’s aide, homeland security specialist, and student success professional.
• Hands-on labs, exercises and optional externships arranged by an Externship Coordinator to provide real-world experience with local employers or organizations.

Entry requirements

Programs are offered as non-degree continuing education courses; specific entry prerequisites depend on the chosen program. Many courses are open to working adults seeking reskilling or upskilling and are designed for flexible online study. MyCAA-approved programs are available for eligible military spouses.
