What you'll study

Instruction covers the full logistics and supply chain workflow, from basic distribution and supply chain concepts to mid-level operational skills. Two named courses are offered:

• PRD150 Certified Logistics Associate (CLA): Foundational Operations — prepares students to sit for the MSSC Certified Logistics Associate exam (exam proctored and included in program cost).
• PRD151 Certified Logistics Technician (CLT): Mid-Level Operations — builds on CLA preparation and readies students for the MSSC Certified Logistics Technician exam (exam included in program cost).

Entry requirements

Continuing Education and Workforce Development program requirements include English reading and listening skills. Prospective students can take a free Accuplacer at FCC's testing center and share results with the program. Specific CEWD requirements and course-level details vary; consult individual course descriptions.

Career prospects

Graduates are prepared for technician roles at fulfillment centers, warehouses, distribution centers, manufacturing facilities and government agencies. The CLA and CLT credentials are nationally recognized and intended to demonstrate technical competency to employers, supporting entry and advancement in logistics and supply chain occupations.

CEWD students may be eligible for financial assistance. Available supports cited by the program include CEWD scholarships, workforce development funding, program-specific aid and payment plans; a Financial Assistance Request Form is provided by the college. Certification exam fees are included in course costs.
