What you'll study

The programme comprises six core modules, one optional module, and a dissertation, blending theoretical foundations with applied tasks to prepare you for management roles.

  • Core modules: Financial Resources Management; Business Planning; Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management; Strategic Management; Understanding Business and Management Research; HRM in Context: Resourcing, Performance and Assessment.
  • Optional modules (choose one): Ethics and Corporate Governance; International Marketing; Organisational Behaviour; Digital Innovation and Technology Management.
  • Assessment: a mix of written reports, business plans, financial analyses, strategy presentations and in-class tests depending on module. Programme ends with a dissertation.

Entry requirements

Standard academic entry is a UK 2:2 honours degree or equivalent international qualification. Applicants without a bachelor’s degree may be considered if they have at least five years' relevant work experience plus university study equivalent to UK NQF Level 4 or higher; such applications are assessed case-by-case. English language minimums: IELTS 6.5 overall (min 6.0 in each subscore); Pearson PTE 59 overall (min 59 in each subscore); TOEFL 90 overall (min 20 in each subscore); BrunELT 63% overall (min 58% in each subscores). Senior secondary certificates (WAEC/WASSC, KCSE, MCSE, Indian Grade 12 Standard, SPM) are considered.

The MSc develops transferable management capabilities—strategic thinking, financial literacy, people management and business planning—relevant across sectors. Typical roles identified include business analyst, business development manager, data analyst, management consultant, project manager, supply chain manager and sales executive. Scholarships & funding angle (general)

Tuition for the full programme is listed at £11,520, covering teaching, materials and online resources. Brunel offers a six-month payment plan (initial instalment at registration then five monthly payments) and several discounts: Early Payment (2%), Alumni (15%), Family (10%) and Academic Excellence (15%); eligible discounts can be combined. UK residents may apply for a Postgraduate Master’s Loan through Student Finance England; the loan is paid directly to students. The university also provides standard online-student access to careers, wellbeing and library services.
