What you'll study

The academic structure covers two taught semesters followed by a dissertation based on an internship or a supervised research project. Semester one totals 21 credits and focuses on core corporate finance and supporting tools; semester two totals 21 credits with core advanced topics plus a choice of specialisation tracks; the dissertation is 18 credits for a 60-credit full year.

• Semester 1 (21 credits): Accounting prerequisites (0 credit), Corporate finance prerequisites (0 credit), Excel prerequisites (0 credit); Core courses: Capital Budgeting (2), Financial Reporting and Analysis (2), Corporate Valuation Methods (2), Capital Structure and Dividend Policy (2), Money, Banking and Financial Markets (2), Corporate Treasury Management (2), Applied Research in Finance (2), Sustainable Finance and Impact Investing (2); Tools and short modules: Power BI and AI (1), Python and Algorithm Design (2), Responsible Leadership (1), Bloomberg Seminar (0), Career Management 1 (1).
• Semester 2 (21 credits): Core courses include M&A and Corporate Restructuring (3), Reporting for Control & Performance Management (2), Financial Risk Management (2); Tools include Data Analysis (R Programming) (1), VBA (2), Excel Financial Modeling (2), Career Management 2 (0).
• Specialisation tracks (semester two): Students choose between two tracks:
  • Fund Raising & Innovative Investments: Private Equity (2), Blockchain in the Financial Ecosystem (2), Investment and Corporate Banking (2), Fintech and Cryptocurrencies (1), Alternative Business Funding (1), AI in Finance: Ethics and Regulation (1).
  • Financial Advisory: Core Consulting Skills (2), Financial Consulting (2), Strategic Due Diligence (2), Financial Due Diligence (2), AI in Financial Digital Transformation (2).
• Dissertation and practical experience: The programme includes two semesters (about eight months) of classes, followed by a four- to six-month internship or a research project supervised by a SKEMA research centre; the internship or project underpins the thesis.

Entry requirements

Admission level: High school plus three years of study or a Bachelor degree. The programme is taught in English. Recruitment is on a rolling admissions basis; candidates are advised to apply early because places are limited. Start months are September and January. Additional tailored arrangements and documentation are specified for applicants with special statuses such as high‑level athletes (e.g., athletic CV, federation licence or club certificate, competition calendar) when applicable.

Career prospects

The curriculum targets roles where finance professionals act as business partners in decision making: corporate finance functions, treasury, valuation and M&A advisory, private equity and investment banking activities, and financial consulting. Emphasis on applied cases, technical tools (Python, R, VBA, Excel modelling) and a hands‑on internship aims to make graduates operational for employer needs in international corporate finance environments.

Scholarships & funding angle (general)

Tuition fees are published by SKEMA: One‑Year MSc €19,000; Two‑Year MSc €38,000. A service fee of €500 per year of study is added.
