What you'll study

The curriculum offers a progressive educational experience that integrates coursework and research with field-based learning opportunities to build capacity for leadership and for cultivating leadership in others. Students learn from faculty and practicing administrators while exploring leadership in the P–12 setting. Entry requirements

  • Be admitted to graduate studies at Cameron University.
  • Provide evidence of one year of teaching experience as a certified teacher (must be completed prior to admission).
  • Hold a qualifying teaching certificate.
  • Submit two acceptable recommendation forms.
  • Have a 3.0 or better undergraduate GPA; applicants with a GPA below 3.0 may be conditionally admitted but must maintain a 3.0 at the graduate level.
