What you'll study

The programme combines required D.Min. core work with four specialized seminars chosen by the student (totaling 12 hours of concentration seminar credit). Example course titles and topics listed in the curriculum include:

• Effective Communicator — developing messages that are faithful to Scripture, organized, engaging, and relevant to listeners.
• Foundations for Ministry — reflection on personal values and feedback from close observers to inform ministry formation.
• Doctoral Research Methods — essential qualitative and quantitative techniques and appropriate uses of social research in ministry contexts.
• Course overview topics: Change and Conflict Management; Cultural Anthropology for Ministry; Team Staffing, Mentoring, and Coaching; Leadership and Growth Pipeline; and others.

Delivery format details: all core seminars are online and asynchronous (faculty may offer limited live interactions). For hybrid concentration seminars, there are three components: pre-class assignments (syllabi released three months before on-campus attendance), a 4-day on-campus seminar (Monday–Thursday, 8am–5pm), and up to three months after class to complete post-class assignments.

Entry requirements

Applicants must hold a Master of Divinity and have at least three years of ministry experience. Those with a Master of Arts in a theological or ministry field may be eligible but could require additional ministry experience. Admissions materials include official transcripts, a spiritual life reference, and—for international applicants—TESOL test scores and a financial certificate demonstrating sufficient funding. Career prospects

The programme is aimed at enhancing effectiveness across a range of vocational ministry roles. Typical career pathways cited include senior pastor, missionary, executive or associate pastor roles (such as executive pastor or preaching pastor), denominational agency executive, Christian non-profit leader, author, and public speaker.
