What you'll study

Study combines advanced leadership practice with theological reflection and applied strategy. The online DMin includes a total of eight seminars plus a final doctoral project. Example curriculum topics and course focuses cited by the programme include:

• Leadership and Growth Pipeline
• Change and Conflict Management
• Team Staffing, Mentoring, and Coaching
• The Effective Communicator (developing messages that are biblically faithful, organized, engaging, and relevant)

Course overviews also describe work such as developing a discipleship-based strategy for sustainable outreach, evangelism, and leadership production; assessing advantages and disadvantages of pastoring an established church and implementing change; and coordinating ministry through volunteer and paid staff.

Entry requirements

To be considered for the Doctor of Ministry programmes an applicant must hold a Master of Divinity and have at least three years of ministry experience. Applicants who hold a Master of Arts in a theological or ministry field are eligible to apply but may be required to show additional ministry experience. Admission materials required include official transcripts, a spiritual life reference, and for international applicants a copy of TESOL test scores plus a financial certificate demonstrating sufficient funding. The programme notes that MA applicants may have additional non-academic requirements and are encouraged to contact admissions for details.
