What you'll study

Study combines MDiv core content with targeted intercultural courses. Example curriculum elements provided by the programme include:

• Biblical Theology of Missions — examines the biblical and theological basis for world mission.
• Intercultural Communication — principles and processes for communicating in a second cultural context.
• Applied Cultural Anthropology — exploration of culture and how cultural patterns affect ministry practice.
• Principles of Contextualization / Understanding and Engaging Culture — preparing students to fit evangelism, church planting, church development and relief ministries into the social and cultural context of the receiving people.

Entry requirements

Applicants must normally hold a four-year bachelor’s degree or international equivalent from a recognized institution. Graduates of Bible colleges, liberal arts colleges and state universities are encouraged to apply. Official transcripts are required (unofficial may be used for initial review if degree is in progress). A spiritual life reference is required. International applicants must provide TESOL test scores and a financial certificate showing sufficient funding. Applicants with pre-seminary GPAs below 2.5 or degrees from non-accredited institutions may be admitted on academic restriction.
