What you'll study

The curriculum combines core natural-science and quantitative subjects with psychology and research methods. Students train in chemistry, physics, calculus, statistics, research methods, biology and psychology while also developing communication and critical-thinking skills. The program supports capstone projects and allows cross-departmental capstone options.

Entry requirements

Neuroscience is an undergraduate major that is taken in addition to Marietta’s liberal-arts core curriculum. The department recognizes AP credit in Physics: a score of 3 on AP Physics I grants credit for PHYS 211 and a score of 3 on AP Physics II grants credit for PHYS 212. Majors should work with an advisor to confirm transfer of any study-abroad or other course credit.
