What you’ll study

Students master ballet, jazz, modern, and tap, reaching professional standards in at least one style. The program deepens knowledge of dance repertory, artistic styles, and cultural contexts, and hones critical evaluation of choreography. Coursework covers the fundamentals of dance—from aesthetic properties to choreographic processes—while integrating diverse styles. Students also explore the intersection of Christian faith and dance, developing stewardship in artistic practice. Practical experience in K‑12 classrooms, choreography, lighting, sound, and multimedia production equips graduates for real‑world teaching.
