What you'll study

The psychology major combines core theory, empirical methods and applied practicum work. Students study foundational areas such as introductory psychology, developmental psychology, social psychology, cognitive psychology and abnormal psychology, together with courses in biological bases of behaviour and personality.

Research and quantitative skills are emphasised through statistics for the behavioural sciences, research methods, laboratory practicum and opportunities to assist on faculty-led research projects.
