Entry requirements

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent and meet the University of Hawaii at Manoa general admission criteria. Strong preparation in biology, chemistry and mathematics at secondary level is expected. Typical competitive applicants will have completed courses in biology, chemistry (including laboratory work), and algebra/statistics.

Some students enter as pre-major and formally declare the dietetics or clinical nutrition option after meeting specific prerequisite GPA and course requirements; transfer applicants are evaluated on previous college coursework and grades.
