This interdisciplinary bachelor’s pathway gives students core grounding in both visual and performing arts while allowing concentration in areas such as studio art, theatre, music, dance or digital media. The curriculum typically mixes foundation courses in drawing, design, performance techniques and music theory with intermediate and advanced studio or performance classes. Students study art history and aesthetics, performance practice, technical production (lighting, sound, stagecraft), digital image-making, video and multimedia, and professional practices such as portfolio development and exhibition planning.

• Foundation modules: drawing and 2D/3D design, basic notation and musicianship, movement and acting fundamentals, introduction to digital media.

Entry requirements

Admission to Oregon State University programmes requires completion of secondary education or an equivalent credential.
