What you'll study

This master's combines core theory with applied skills. Typical core topics include theories of globalization, international political economy, global governance and comparative development. Students also study research methods (qualitative and quantitative), global migration and transnationalism, and the cultural dimensions of globalisation such as media flows and diasporic networks.

Programme structure usually mixes required core units with a selection of electives drawn from relevant departments. Entry requirements

• Academic background: A recognised undergraduate degree (bachelor's) with strong performance in a relevant discipline such as international relations, political science, economics, sociology, anthropology, history or related fields.
• Transcripts and references: Official transcripts and two academic or professional references that can speak to your readiness for graduate study.
