What you'll study

The programme builds on a common business core before moving into specialised management and operations topics. You will study foundational subjects such as financial and managerial accounting, corporate finance, marketing, micro- and macro-economics, business law and statistics. Major-specific modules typically include operations management, supply chain management, production and service operations, project management, quality management, procurement and logistics, and decision sciences/analytics for operations.

Coursework emphasises applied skills and decision-making: case studies, simulation exercises, operations modelling, and data-driven problem solving. The degree usually culminates in a capstone project or practicum where students integrate knowledge across functional areas to solve a real organisational problem. Electives allow exploration of related areas such as organisational behaviour and leadership, strategic management, entrepreneurship, human resource management, and information systems.

Students are encouraged to take advantage of experiential learning: internships, co‑ops, study abroad options, industry consulting projects and student-run enterprises to develop practical workplace skills alongside academic study.
