Entry requirements

Applicants normally require a recognised bachelor’s degree in a related discipline (for example health science, exercise science, biomedical science or equivalent). Selection typically considers academic performance, relevant clinical or health-related experience, and suitability for professional practice.

• Evidence of prior tertiary study in a relevant field with acceptable academic standing.
• Demonstrated experience or exposure to health or allied health settings is advantageous.
• English language proficiency demonstrated by an approved test or prior study in English where required for international applicants.
• Successful applicants must meet professional requirements for clinical placements, which commonly include a National criminal history check, immunisation evidence, and current first aid/cardiopulmonary resuscitation certificates.
• Meeting any programme-specific prerequisites or compliance checks is required prior to commencing clinical components.
