What you'll study

The program covers core areas of accounting, finance and business law with an emphasis on applying Australian accounting standards and contemporary practice. Typical subjects include financial accounting and reporting, management accounting, taxation law and practice, auditing and assurance, corporate law and governance, and accounting ethics. Applicants are normally expected to hold a recognised bachelor's degree. Graduates from disciplines other than accounting are eligible; however, non-accounting backgrounds may be required to complete pre‑requisite or bridging subjects to meet professional accreditation requirements. Selection also takes into account academic performance at undergraduate level and, where relevant, professional experience.

All applicants whose prior study was not in English must provide evidence of English language proficiency.
