What you'll study

This programme builds a firm grounding in financial and management accounting, corporate finance and the operation of financial markets, while developing analytical and IT skills used by employers. In the first year you study foundational topics such as financial accounting, business law and an introduction to finance and quantitative methods. In later years the curriculum typically expands to cover management accounting, auditing, taxation, corporate reporting, financial management, investment analysis and risk management.

Entry requirements

Applicants are normally expected to have a good set of A-levels, a recognised international equivalent (such as an international baccalaureate), or a relevant BTEC diploma. A numerate subject such as mathematics or further mathematics is advantageous but not always mandatory; admissions tutors value strong numerical and analytical ability. Mature applicants with relevant work experience and applicants holding appropriate access qualifications are also considered. International students will need to meet English language requirements through an approved qualification or test.
