What you'll study

This taught master's combines technical investigation methods, human factors, systems thinking and safety management. Entry requirements

Applicants normally need a good undergraduate degree (typically a UK second-class honours upper division (2:1) or international equivalent) in a relevant discipline such as engineering, aviation, transport studies, forensic science, or another technical subject. Candidates with a lower-class honours degree plus relevant professional experience in safety, operations, maintenance or emergency services may also be considered.

Applicants whose first language is not English are normally required to demonstrate proficiency through an accepted English language qualification. Applicants with substantial industry experience but without a formal technical degree are encouraged to contact the programme team to discuss suitability and possible preparatory requirements.
