Eligibility follows Finnish UAS law. Acceptable prior qualifications include Finnish upper secondary school (lukio) or matriculation examination, International Baccalaureate, European Baccalaureate, Reifeprüfung/Deutsches Internationales Abitur, specified Finnish vocational qualifications (120 or 180 study weeks, or earlier equivalents of at least 80 study weeks), Finnish post-secondary vocational or polytechnic-level qualifications, or a foreign qualification that grants access to higher education in the awarding country. The required prior education must be completed by the end of the additional application round (6 August 2026). Applicants must also demonstrate the required English language proficiency through prior studies or a language test; language proficiency is verified via the application and checked before admission. Admission in the additional round is by an on-campus selection test (cannot be taken online). The selection test language is English, lasts up to three hours, and assesses English language skills, logical reasoning, mathematical skills and advanced mathematical skills. Test-takers must bring writing materials and a photo ID; late arrivals are not admitted. Applicants needing individual arrangements for the test (e.g., extra time, assistant) must submit an electronic application with supporting medical or expert statements by 6 August 2026, 15:00.
