This diploma builds practical competence in a broad range of salon and spa services and the underpinning knowledge required to work professionally in the beauty industry. Core study areas include advanced facial and skin treatments, body massage techniques, waxing and hair removal, brow and lash services, make-up application, nail technology, and retailing of beauty products.

Students also cover workplace-focused topics such as client consultation and assessment, workplace health and safety, infection control, industry regulations and professional practice, plus small business and salon operations (scheduling, merchandising, client management). The program combines supervised practical sessions in training salons with theory classes and assessed industry placements so graduates are ready for workplace roles.

Entry requirements
