Structure

The diploma is delivered through a mix of lectures, seminars, workshops and supervised practical assignments. Assessment typically combines written assignments, multimedia projects, presentations and a final placement or capstone project. The programme is suitable for part-time study in many instances to accommodate working professionals.

Entry requirements

Applicants are normally expected to hold a secondary school leaving qualification (such as GCE A/L) or an equivalent credential from a recognised institution. Candidates with a related certificate, prior professional experience in media, civil society or public service, or mature applicants with relevant experience may also be considered. Proficiency in English is required for coursework and assessments; evidence may be requested if English is not the applicant's medium of prior instruction.
