Suited to students with prior undergraduate or graduate finance coursework (or equivalent experience) who want focused technical and industry knowledge without committing to a full master’s program.
Instruction covers practical and conceptual FinTech topics and elective options for focused technical skills. Specific areas included are:

The program is intended for applicants who have completed prior undergraduate or graduate finance coursework; applicants who do not meet that prerequisite are advised to begin with the Finance certificate. Students must have passed a university‑level statistics course within the past five years or demonstrate equivalent industry experience. Application materials include a completed application and fee, resume, unofficial transcripts (official transcripts required upon enrollment), a goal statement, a letter of recommendation, and for international applicants, TOEFL/IELTS/PTE‑Academic scores. Application deadlines are published for fall and spring terms with earlier dates for international applicants and rolling admissions thereafter.
The curriculum prepares students for roles where finance and technology intersect, such as positions involving algorithmic trading, quantitative and data‑driven analysis, FinTech product development, risk and compliance technology (RegTech), and cybersecurity for financial services. Completion can also shorten the path to a related master’s degree by transferring certificate coursework.
