Core topic areas include research methods, statistical analysis and data visualization specifically framed for digital marketing. Coursework and projects use advanced analytics software and real-world case studies. Students may choose deeper study in customer experience (including perspectives such as neuromarketing), digital analytics methodologies, or broader strategic challenges posed by the evolving digital marketing landscape.
Applicants submit a completed application and a $50 application fee (fee waivers available for attendees of graduate admission events). Required materials include a resume, unofficial transcripts of all post-secondary work and a goal statement. Admitted students must provide official transcripts showing degree conferral prior to the first class. Application deadlines: Fall semester applications are due August 15 (then rolling); Spring semester applications are due January 4 (then rolling).
Graduates gain practical skills to support roles that require digital analytics, marketing research and data-informed strategy development. The certificate can also be stacked with Suffolk’s Graduate Certificates in Data Analytics and Customer Insights, or count toward a Suffolk graduate business degree (for example the MS in Marketing) if admitted, potentially shortening time to a master’s.
