Applicants must hold an undergraduate degree. Many graduate business certificate courses have prerequisites; specific course prerequisites are listed with each class (for example, MBA 505 or equivalent is required before several electives). Credit for prior learning can provide up to 9 credits toward graduate business degree progression for eligible industry-recognized credentials.
Coursework targets understanding of corporate finance decisions, investment analysis and the dynamics of global and emerging markets—skills applicable to roles in corporate finance, financial analysis, investment research, risk management and positions that interact with international capital markets. Ashland’s Career Center for Life Calling offers placement support, internships and career-oriented services for students completing a graduate business certificate.
