What you'll study

The degree requires 120 total hours, including 56 university hours (9–15 in Bible) and a 64-hour major with 16 hours of electives. A 27 credit-hour business core covers accounting, legal aspects of business, macro- and microeconomics, finance, statistics, organizational behavior, business strategy, management information systems, and marketing principles. Example courses and topics named in the curriculum include:

• Managerial Accounting
• Business Statistics
• Global Strategy
• Principles of Marketing

Students then choose one of three concentrations to tailor their studies:

• Human Resource Management – coursework on employee planning, compensation and benefits, retention, and workplace safety to prepare for corporate HR roles.
• Leadership – study leadership approaches and apply methods to develop personal influence and strategic direction across organizations.
• Operations – focus on sourcing, production and delivery processes, planning and production management software, logistics, systems development, and innovation for product-focused roles.

Entry requirements

Applicants must submit official high school transcripts with a minimum 2.5 GPA and/or college transcripts with a minimum 2.0 GPA.

Career prospects

The program prepares graduates for a range of managerial and operational roles. Job titles listed by the program include Training & Development Manager, Executive Director, Sales Manager, Employee Relations Manager, General Manager, and Emergency Management Director. The curriculum also supports work in business intelligence, marketing, human resources, operations and finance.
