Students who follow the music education emphasis graduate with a Wisconsin K-12 Music Education license to teach band, orchestra, choir or general music; the programme reports that its education graduates enjoy a 100% placement rate and work in public, private and charter schools.

Scholarships & funding angle (general)

WLC encourages incoming freshmen and transfer students with strong musical ability to audition for a Music Scholarship worth up to $2,000 per year (renewable; lifetime value up to $8,000).
