See the degree grade →An accelerated bachelor completion program that combines core business management with healthcare-specific coursework and a research capstone. Suited to working adults and current healthcare employees who want managerial skills applicable to clinics, corporate medical settings or health systems leadership.
The major builds foundational business knowledge (management, organizational behavior, marketing, accounting) and advances into healthcare-focused topics. Students complete upper-division business courses plus healthcare emphasis courses and a research capstone. Students must earn at least a C- in business administration-healthcare administration courses to receive credit.
Applicants submit an online application and provide official transcripts from previously attended colleges, universities and high schools (sent electronically to trans.evaluator@fresno.edu). A GED transcript or an AA/AS/AS-T/AA-T from an accredited college will serve as proof of high school completion. Military applicants should submit military transcripts and DD214 forms. The program is offered as evening accelerated or online accelerated delivery.
Coursework prepares graduates to plan, manage and improve operations and services in healthcare settings — from private physician offices to corporate medical environments and health systems. Emphases such as quality management, healthcare law and IT plus the research capstone aim to equip students for roles in administration, operations, compliance, quality improvement and leadership/management within healthcare organizations.
Students are encouraged to complete the FAFSA (FPU FAFSA code 001253) beginning October 1.
