What you'll study

Instruction emphasizes using biblical Hebrew correctly from day one, internalizing vocabulary through context and repeated use, and developing reading fluency rather than starting with abstract grammatical rules. The program prepares students to proceed to subsequent Hebrew classes once they complete the prerequisite course HEB 115.

Entry requirements

Students who complete Living Biblical Hebrew strengthen skills useful in Bible, theology, ethics, and Christian ministry coursework and related vocations; the program also serves students fulfilling general language requirements.
