What you'll study

The award comprises 8 units (144 points). The required structure is:

• 2 units in Biblical Studies
• 2 units in Christian Thought and History
• 4 further units which may include electives or practical ministry study

Entry requirements

Standard admission requires successful completion of Year 12 (Australian secondary school) or equivalent. Probationary admission is available for approved applicants aged 21 or over who have not completed Year 12. Applicants whose first language is not English must meet the admissions policy English proficiency requirements. The college operates credit transfer and recognition of prior learning (RPL) policies.

Career prospects

Graduates gain foundational skills for critical study of Christian texts, the ability to articulate basic theological and scriptural knowledge, and analytical skills to construct and communicate theological arguments. These capabilities support further theological study or practical engagement in service‑orientated and ministry contexts; the diploma may form the first year of an Advanced Diploma or Bachelor award.
