A three-year, project-based technical diploma combining electronics and software for designing, programming and maintaining intelligent systems. Suited to students who enjoy hands-on electronics, embedded programming and applied AI/IoT work and who may later transfer to engineering degrees or enter technical roles in robotics and smart systems.

Graduates qualify as embedded systems technologists and find roles in embedded software development, electronics and PCB design, systems development for robotics and IoT, AI algorithm work, computer design and maintenance, manufacturing and related project management positions. About half of graduates continue to university—many in electrical, computer, mechanical or software engineering—and often receive Vanier credits toward those degrees.
