What you'll study

The programme combines foundation, core, research and dissertation coursework to build leadership and research capacity.

• Foundation courses: Ethical and Legal Issues in Education/Leadership; Diversity, Ethical Decision Making, and Community Relations; Leading Technology Innovation; Funding of Educational Institutions; Curriculum Design (each 3.0 credit hours).
• Core leadership courses: Leadership: Theory and Management; Analysis of Data and Needs Assessment; Innovation in Teaching and Supervision; Leadership: Human Resources and Professional Development; plus two electives (each course 3.0 credit hours).
• Research sequence: Quantitative Research I & II; Qualitative Research; Mixed Methods; Advanced Research: Pre-Proposal and Literature Review (each 3.0 credit hours).
• Dissertation: 12 credit hours delivered as six 2-credit dissertation courses, supporting original doctoral research and contribution to the field.

Entry requirements
