What you'll study

Coursework combines leadership development, high-impact practices for organizational change, and applied inquiry. From the outset you identify a Problem of Practice tied to your professional setting that anchors the Dissertation in Practice. The program includes an experiential learning course allowing a tailored real-world application of leadership and innovation skills. Students also take 12 credits of concentration electives to focus their study.

Entry requirements

To be considered for admission applicants must hold a master’s degree (or equivalent) from an accredited institution with a minimum GPA of 3.0. Required application materials include two professional recommendations, a personal essay, a resume or CV, and official transcripts (bachelor’s and master’s degree transcripts showing degree conferred, plus any additional college transcripts). International applicants should consult the College’s International Admissions page for further requirements. A minimum of 1–3 years of professional work experience is preferred. Applications are accepted until the cohort is filled; the next cohort begins Summer 2027 though elective coursework may be started earlier.
