What you'll study

Coursework combines classroom lectures with hands-on laboratory experience. Typical study areas include:

Entry requirements

Admission is through the university's undergraduate application process; chemistry majors should have a strong high-school background in mathematics (including algebra and preferably calculus) and laboratory science (chemistry and/or biology). Placement in initial college chemistry or math courses may be determined by prior coursework, standardized test scores, or placement assessments conducted by the institution.
