What you'll study

The curriculum combines required psychology and computer science courses, plus electives and a capstone placement.

• Psychology required (6): Applied Psychology; Advanced Research Methods; Applied Psychology: Professional Seminar; Industrial Psychology and Organizational Development; Applied Social Psychology; Applied Biopsychology; Capstone (Professional Placement).
• Computer science required (4): Data Intelligence; Data Analytics; Data at Scale; Data Ethics.
• Electives (choose 2) from psychology, communication, business and economics topics: Principles of Psychological Testing; Health Psychology; Human Factors; Business/Organizational Psychology; Communications; Health Communication; Health Communication Campaigns; Cultural Diversity in Communicating Health and Wellness; Organizational Communication; Communication Consulting; Economics; Behavioral Economics; Applied Econometrics.

Entry requirements

Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution (or international equivalent) before starting graduate study and have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale. Non-U.S. citizens must demonstrate English proficiency. Application materials: completed online application and fee, transcripts (with evaluation for international coursework), two letters of recommendation, a statement of purpose and a resume/CV. Additional documentation rules and deadlines are specified by the Graduate School.
