Pace University's Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering is a four-year undergraduate programme that prepares students to design, analyse and test electronic and electro-mechanical systems. Pace also welcomes transfer students from community colleges or other universities; transfer applicants should have completed foundational STEM coursework such as calculus and introductory physics.
Graduates are prepared for roles designing, testing and maintaining electronic systems across a wide range of industries. Common job titles include electronics engineer, embedded systems engineer, hardware design engineer, test and validation engineer, controls engineer and systems integrator. Employers include electronics manufacturers, telecommunications firms, aerospace and defence contractors, medical device companies, utilities and engineering consultancies.
Many alumni also progress to graduate study (MSc or PhD) in electrical engineering, computer engineering or related fields, or combine technical expertise with business qualifications for roles in product management, technical sales and entrepreneurship. The programme’s emphasis on hands-on projects and internships supports rapid entry into industry and practical competence in workplace toolchains and workflows.
