What you'll study

The programme combines core computing and information-systems topics with specialised coursework on enterprise resource planning and SAP technologies. You will build a foundation in programming, databases and systems analysis, then apply those skills to modelling, configuring and integrating business processes within ERP environments.

• Core computing and data modules: programming fundamentals, data structures, relational databases, data modelling, data warehousing and data visualisation.
• Business and systems modules: introduction to business processes, systems analysis and design, project management, and organisational information systems.
• SAP and ERP-specific modules: SAP fundamentals and navigation, configuration of core SAP modules (finance, supply chain, human resources), integration techniques, and an overview of SAP S/4HANA architecture and cloud deployment models.
• Advanced technical options: scripting for automation, ABAP basics or equivalent customization tools, APIs and middleware for system integration, and performance optimisation for enterprise systems.
• Practical experience: team-based capstone projects that simulate real-world ERP implementations, practicum placements or industry internships, and case studies drawn from finance, manufacturing and public sector contexts.

Entry requirements

Admissions are at bachelor level and seek candidates with a solid secondary-school academic record. Typical applicants will have strong performance in mathematics and at least some exposure to computing or information technology. Selection considers the whole application: academic transcripts, personal statement outlining interest in enterprise systems and business technology, and references.

UVM admissions allow for multiple pathways into undergraduate study; applicants who lack direct IT experience can strengthen their application with community-college credits, relevant short courses, or placement assessments.
