What you'll study

The programme combines technical construction knowledge, management principles and general education to develop competent construction professionals. Core subject areas include construction materials and methods, construction estimating and cost control, project scheduling and CPM, construction safety and risk management, site layout and field operations, construction contracts and law, and building systems (mechanical, electrical and structural). Students also study construction technology topics such as computer‑aided drafting (CAD), building information modelling (BIM), survey and layout, and construction procurement.
